I neglected to post earlier in January of our three birthdays that we celebrated. David's was on the 19th and we had a very fun day at the Newlan Creek Resevoir (which is now frozen over). David took his snowmobile and he spent the day pulling the kids and I on a sled over the frozen lake (and may I also mention for any of you familiar with my husband that he tried his hardest to break my tail bone on every hard jumping surface that he could find). Our friends Brett and Becki Williams and their girls joined up with us and that made the day very fun. Brett had his four wheeler also and pulled a sled. The evening was topped off with a chocolate John Deere tractor cake.
January 22 we had a triple birthday party for Zane (his fourth) at Shane and Nicole Sereday's house. They are friends of ours that have a little boy named Evan who was also born on the 22nd so Zane and him are exactly the same age. Nicole's birthday is also on the 22nd also. So I made two cakes and one peanut butter pie for Nicole and a great time was had by all.
The next Saturday, David's Mom was able to come and visit, so we had a combined birthday party then to celebrate with her.
On Seth's birthday, January 30, we were in Logan, UT for my Grandma's funeral so we had his party at the motel with Papa Boyd, Grandma Diane, Aunt Sandy and cousin Cy. Part of his birthday present was having a motel with a swimming pool and he loved it. The boys swam their hearts out and a good time was had by all.

After getting home off of our trip, I then was crazy enough to invite four of the boys out of Seth's class for a birthday party. We survived and again a good time was had by all, and Seth felt like he brought in his eighth year with a good bang.
Also, my nephew Cy birthday was today and Sandy and him drove up to our house yesterday and we had a fun party with him last night.
So to recap, we have eaten six birthday cakes over the last four weeks. The rest of February will feel boring after all this partying.
I just have to say again a happy birthday to my honey who turned the big 36, and happy birthday to my Zane William who turned 4 and happy birthday to my Seth David who turned the big 8 years old. My little men are growing big so fast (I don't mean you, David :-) I am trying to cherish the moments but it is fleeting. Life is good.

This birthday thing is crazy. It would be wild enough if they came in June or July when there isn't much else going on but right after the holiday season makes it insane! Oh well ~ It make the cold winter months go by faster.
Thanks again for a fun party for Cy. He loved that he finally got his stuffed crust pizza. You know that may have to be a tradition now. Cy loved being there loved getting to see Mini for the first time as well.
See you on the 21st ~
Love,
SK & Cy Ryan
Sounds so fun! You guys are so cute. So sorry to hear about your Grandma. I've been thinking of you guys. Your post below this made me cry. You're so sweet. It made me miss Grandma. Love you guys.
Keri,
So fun to read about all the birthdays. We kind of have the same thing going in December. And then Jared joined the group and has a birhtday on Dec.
23rd. We almost didn't let Chels marry him because of it. j/k You are such a wonderful mom! Your boys will have the best memories!
Love you--Aunt Robin
