Happy 1st Birthday Baby Luke (aka "Stinky and "Toby")

I can't believe my baby is already one. Where did this last year go? I know I say that with each one of my boys but really this time thing when you get older is ridiculous.

We were able to celebrate Luke's birthday in Utah as we made the trek down for my nephew Reese farewell for his mission. Reese works at Fat Cat's bowling alley and he treated our entire family that was down there to bowling and dinner and then my niece Alyssa brought a cake for Luke. We had a blast! Zane beat all the kids in the first round and proved to be quite the bowler. It was such a fun trip and was so nice to see everyone. ( Thank you my sweet Aunt Robin for letting us crash at your place. Your the best!)

Anyway, I think Luke had the best time as he was passed around to everyone and got to sample all of the food on their plates and then have his own piece of cake.

Here is a picture of Luke the day he was born. He has been such a blessing to our family. His arrival to our family came at a pretty stressful time in our life but since the first time I held him he has brought so much joy! He has been the best baby and has such a sweet and fun personality. He was the perfect gift to our family and we love him so much. His big brother Zane is especially happy that he is here as now they can play together. He smiles at everything and dances to any music that he hears. He loves to clap his hands and is now climbing everything. He also is loved by everyone in our town and I can't take him anywhere where people don't stop to talk to him. He is a people person and in his own quiet and gentle way he captures every one's hearts. We love you Luke Leland Wendt!!!!
